INGREDIENTS
Papaya, oats, aloe vera and hibiscus are just some of the carefully selected ingredients in Janiser®. This means that Janiser® is completely natural and free from irritants such as lactose or gluten. The perfect mix to gently stimulate digestion!
Papaya
Papaya contains enzymes such as papain and chymopapain, which may help promote digestion and reduce inflammation in the body. A 2014 study showed that papaya leaf extract may help reduce inflammation in the gut in rats.
Hibiscus
In many regions of the world, hibiscus tea is drunk as a digestive tea, as the plant is considered a mild laxative. This is also the case in South America - which is why hibiscus gives Janiser® the right touch. Also because it has a particularly high vitamin C content. A real power plant!
Leinsamen
For centuries, flax seeds have been valued for their health-promoting properties. Today, flaxseeds are considered a superfood as more scientific research points to their great health benefits. One tablespoon provides a good amount of protein, fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, and is also a rich source of some vitamins and minerals. It contains 3 grams of fiber, which is 8-12% of the recommended daily intake for men and women. This fiber duo is fermented by the bacteria in the colon, inflates the stool and leads to more regular bowel movements.
Oats
Did you know that oats are one of the healthiest grains in the world? Not only is it a gluten-free whole grain for people with intolerance, but it's also a great source of essential vitamins, minerals, fiber, protein and antioxidants! This makes oats one of the most nutrient-dense foods available to us. Countless studies show that oats have many health benefits, including weight loss, lowering blood sugar levels and reducing the risk of heart disease. Best of all, oats contain a type of fiber that promotes the growth of good bacteria in the intestines, and it can help with other digestive problems like constipation.
Chamomile
Janiser® contains chamomile, an herb that comes from the daisy-like flowers of the Asteraceae plant family. It has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for various ailments. Some studies have shown that chamomile promotes digestive health, protects against diarrhoea, stomach ulcers, nausea and flatulence, probably due to its anti-inflammatory properties. It is often reported that camomile also relieves stomach pain.
Aloe Vera
For thousands of years, aloe vera has served people as a medicinal plant. Its juice contains many different enzymes, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and immunostimulating effects. The medicinal plant, which is also called desert lily, shines in various fields. As the main active ingredient of the aloe vera plant acts acemannan>. Until puberty, the sugar molecule is formed in the body itself, after which it is supplied through food. Acemannan has particularly essential tasks in the body. It strengthens the white blood cells and thus supports the immune system. With the help of acemannan, the intestines are deacidified and cleansed. Due to the storage of acemannan in all cell membranes, the molecule acts as an immune booster for the entire organism. Therefore, aloe vera helps to successfully fight parasites, viruses and bacteria.
Mangosteen
This small tropical fruit contains a high concentration of valuable xanthones, so-called super antioxidants. They inhibit inflammation more effectively than vitamin E and relieve internal pain. 100g of mangosteen has the highest measured antioxidant efficiency with 17,000 ORAC (100g of blueberries have 2400 ORAC). This is why this jungle plant is an essential component of Janiser®.
Zitronengras
Lemongrass is valued for its medicinal properties as it contains essential oils such as citronellol, limonene and geraniol, which have antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. It is used in traditional medicine to treat digestive problems, fever, colds, muscle cramps and inflammation.
Stevia
Stevia is a sweetener and sugar substitute obtained from the Stevia rebaudiana plant, a species native to South America. Used for over a millennium by the Guaraní peoples of South America, who called it the ‘sweet herb’, stevia has also been used for decades as a calorie-free sweetener in countries such as Japan. Steviol glycosides from the stevia plant have only been authorised in the EU since 2011.
