FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

It is a combination of Jani (Sanskrit: जनि) and ser (Spanish). Jani stands for birth, the emergence, life and ser for being.

Intestinal problems have been almost ubiquitous in recent years in books, social media, podcasts and TV channels. Studies also show that a large proportion of the world's population suffers from functional gastrointestinal disorders, which very often remain asymptomatic in the gut itself. It is estimated that about 35-50% of the world's population suffers from chronic irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which manifests as bloating, constipation, abdominal pain and diarrhea after food intake.

The intestinal microbiome is said to be very diverse and to harbor billions of bacteria. Today we know that it is not a matter of "good" and "bad" bacteria, but rather the balanced interaction of as many different bacteria as possible. The balance between bacteria is crucial for overall physical and mental health. If this balance is disturbed, this often leads to severe digestive complaints, but also to many other symptoms whose triggers are not suspected in the intestine.

Antibiotics have helped prevent deadly infections for more than 75 years. The flip side of this coin is the sharp decline in diversity and changes in the human microbiome, which have been shown to contribute to the development of chronic diseases, particularly neuro-endocrine diseases, which have been on the rise in recent decades.

Taking a probiotic is important for health because it can help promote the balance of bacteria in the digestive system and have positive effects on various aspects of the body. Here are some reasons why taking a probiotic can be important:

  1. Support intestinal health: Probiotics can help maintain healthy bacterial flora in the gut and promote bacterial diversity. This can lead to improved digestion, better absorption of nutrients and increased intestinal function.
  2. Strengthens the immune system: The majority of the immune system is located in the intestine. By promoting the balance of intestinal flora, probiotics can strengthen immune function and contribute to the defense against pathogens. By the way, balanced colonization is also prevented by chronic activation of the immune system.
  3. Improvement of mood and mental well-being: There is a close connection between the gut and the brain called the gut-brain axis. Probiotics can influence the production of neurotransmitters, which are important for mood and mental well-being. It is now considered proven that healthy gut flora has a positive impact on mental health. However, conventional medicine is still not clear about the connections. The interactions between neurotransmitters and the small intestinal microbiome are still only known to a small community of often naturopathic physicians.
  4. Relief from digestive problems: Probiotics can help relieve certain digestive symptoms such as bloating, diarrhea, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome. By promoting balanced intestinal flora, they can help reduce symptoms and regulate digestion.
  5. Support for recovery after antibiotic treatments: Antibiotics can not only kill harmful bacteria, but also affect the healthy intestinal flora. Taking probiotics during and after antibiotic treatment can help restore the balance of intestinal flora and reduce the risk of side effects such as diarrhea.

A natural probiotic can aid digestion in several ways. Here are some of the mechanisms by which probiotics can aid digestion:

  1. Promoting the balance of the intestinal flora: Probiotics contain live strains of bacteria that can help improve the balance of intestinal flora. They can help increase beneficial bacteria and contain the growth of harmful bacteria. They can help maintain the physiological intestinal flora and prevent miscolonization, for example, with fungi. A healthy balance of intestinal flora is important for optimal digestion, nutrient absorption and thus sustainable physical and mental health.
  2. Support nutrient uptake: Probiotics can help the microbiome improve the absorption of nutrients from food, absorb nutrients more efficiently, especially those that are important for metabolism, such as vitamins and minerals.
  3. Regulation of intestinal transit: Probiotics can help regulate bowel movement and improve intestinal transit. This can help with both constipation and diarrhea by promoting a normal and healthier stool consistency.
  4. Production of enzymes and short-chain fatty acids: a probiotic supports the development of a healthy small intestine microbiome. This can then produce substances important for our organism, such as enzymes and short-chain fatty acids.
  5. Strengthening the intestinal barrierProbiotics can help to strengthen the integrity of the intestinal barrier, as required for example in leaky gut syndrome. A healthy intestinal barrier is important to prevent the entry of harmful substances and pathogens. By strengthening the intestinal barrier, probiotics can help reduce inflammation.

Indigenous people have benefited from the natural resources of the rainforest and its vast diversity for centuries. With more than 150,000 plant species, of which only 1% have been medically researched, the Amazon and Andes region is the pharmacy of the world. Note: This one percent of the researched plants is the basis of more than a quarter of our current medicines.

Only rarely do scientists in direct contact with indigenous peoples get a glimpse of their artisanal and traditional practices of agriculture - much less their well-guarded natural medicines. For millennia, indigenous people have consciously and humbly used the elements of nature itself, paying attention to the lunar cycle to enrich the soil. Agrochemicals, pesticides and herbicides have never been used here. This is because they know that the natural elements and substances hidden in the plants are usually missing or lost when man uses modern methods of industrial agriculture.

In their diet, many indigenous tribes integrate legumes, vegetables, fruits and herbs. For prevention, they either administer them in natural form or prepare them in secret tinctures and juices in a way in which they ideally complement each other. Behind this is a knowledge passed from mouth to ear about the existence of the plants' own substances. For many indigenous peoples, these are the expression of the pure life force of Mother Earth, the Pacha Mama. They honor plants that carry probiotic microorganisms and promote good digestion, just as the rest of the world values gold, silver or diamonds.

Without knowing it, they probably developed the first functional organic drinks in the world. They always mix herbal extracts from plants, fruits, vegetables and legumes. The special thing in all these plants: they grow in harmony with nature. The secret of the juices lies in the generating life force of Mother Earth. Because they cleverly combine probiotic plant fibers and living microorganisms that contain probiotic bacilli. Just as indigenous people believe in the eternal power of nature, the eternal transformation and transformation of all life, they attach immeasurable importance to the human gut.

For them, the digestive tract is the cradle of human life, because in it man digests all that happens to him, what he experiences, what he feels, hears, sees and speaks. Thus, for many primitive peoples, environment is not something distant outside of man. No, man himself is his environment. The ancient principles of the wise aborigines therefore advise to bring their inner universe into balance. And the intestine is also part of this inner universe and it is important to keep the intestinal flora in balance.

For this reason, many ancient healers give their brothers and sisters their special juices to improve digestion and boost the body's defenses. To do this, they harvest plants, legumes and fruits that combine organic herbal extracts with natural prebiotic fiber and probiotic microorganisms. The genetic information stored in the cells of these plants is believed to help repair and heal the human gastrointestinal tract.

The natural origin of Janiser®Probioticum is guaranteed: The liquid probiotic is made from plant extracts and naturally fermented bacteria, in a proprietary process without the use of artificial additives, pasteurization or chemical processes for preservation. Shelf life without refrigeration even after opening is assured for 24 months in the temperature range of 5-28 degrees. Each batch is tested for residues and quality in an independent laboratory in Switzerland. The knowledge of preservation is reserved to the experts in our Colombian laboratory.

Probiotic bacteria can help boost the immune system by acting on the body in a variety of ways. Here are some of the mechanisms by which probiotic bacteria can support the immune system:

  1. Regulation of the immune response: Probiotic bacteria can influence the activity and regulation of the immune system. They can promote the production of immune cells and anti-inflammatory molecules while dampening an excessive or inappropriate immune response. This can help maintain a healthy balance of the immune system.
  2. Strengthening the mucous membranes: The mucous membranes are the first line of defense of the immune system against invading pathogens. Probiotic bacteria can help strengthen the integrity and functionality of the mucous membranes. This promotes a healthy barrier function that prevents pathogen invasion and supports the immune system.
  3. Improvement of antibody production: Probiotics can stimulate the production of antibodies that can recognize and neutralize specific pathogens. This helps to strengthen the immune response and supports the fight against pathogens.
  4. Inhibition of harmful bacteriaProbiotic bacteria can inhibit the growth and activity of harmful bacteria. By reducing the number of harmful bacteria, they reduce the risk of infection and help the immune system fight pathogens.
  5. Modulation of inflammation: Inflammation is a natural response of the immune system to infection or injury. However, an excessive or prolonged inflammatory response can cause damage to the body. Probiotic bacteria can help regulate inflammation and reduce an excessive inflammatory response, which helps strengthen the immune system.

For all probiotics contained in Janiser® Probiotic and for all plant extracts, there are current studies that comprehensively describe the positive influence of the bacteria and plant extracts on the intestine and mental health. Therapists, doctors and alternative practitioners can request these studies from us free of charge using this link.

The time needed to notice positive effects from taking a probiotic can vary from person to person. There are several factors that may play a role:

  1. The individual state of health: A person's health status and the specific problem for which they are taking the probiotic can affect how long the effects last. For some people, positive effects may be felt within a few days, while for others it may take longer.
  2. Probiotic type: There are different types of probiotics that contain different strains of bacteria. Some probiotics work faster than others, depending on the specific strains of bacteria and their interaction with the intestinal environment.
  3. Dosage: The dosage of the probiotic may also have an influence on the length of time until positive effects are felt. In some cases, a higher dosage can achieve a faster effect.
  4. Duration of intake: The continuity of taking the probiotic also plays a role. Probiotics work best when they are taken regularly and over a longer period of time. It may take several weeks before a stable balance of intestinal flora is established and positive effects on health become noticeable.

A natural probiotic can help boost your overall energy and vitality by improving the health of your digestive system. A healthy digestive system plays an important role in absorbing nutrients, producing energy, and eliminating waste. Here are some ways a probiotic can contribute to this:

  1. Improved nutrient uptakeProbiotic bacteria can help improve the digestion and absorption of nutrients. They help break down and process food, resulting in more efficient absorption of nutrients. Better nutrient absorption can increase your energy by providing your body with all the nutrients it needs.
  2. Strengthens the immune system: A healthy immune system is important for your overall health and vitality. Probiotic bacteria can help strengthen the immune system and improve resistance to pathogens. By supporting the immune system, a probiotic can help you feel more vital and energetic.
  3. Promotion of healthy intestinal flora: A probiotic can help improve the balance of intestinal flora. Healthy intestinal flora is important for optimal digestion, production of energy and maintenance of a healthy metabolism. By supporting gut health, probiotics can boost your overall energy and vitality.
  4. Mood support: There is a connection between the gut and the brain known as the gut-brain axis. A healthy gut flora can have a positive effect on your mood and overall well-being. When you feel better mentally and emotionally, you can have more energy and vitality.

It is important to note that the effects of a probiotic on energy and vitality may vary from person to person. Efficacy depends on several factors, including individual health and dosage.

The viability of the bacteria is an important consideration when selecting a probiotic, as only live bacteria can provide their intended health benefits. Here are some points that should be considered:

  1. Stability: The probiotic should be formulated so that the bacteria remain stable during storage and transport.
  2. Survivability in the acidic gastric environment: The probiotic bacteria must survive the acidic environment of the stomach to reach the intestinal tract where they can exert their effect. Certain strains of bacteria are naturally more resistant to gastric acid and can have a higher survival rate.
  3. Dosage: A sufficient amount of live probiotic bacteria must be present in each dose of probiotic to achieve a beneficial effect. The exact dosage may vary from product to product and should follow the recommended guidelines.
  4. Expiration date: A good quality probiotic will contain an expiration date that indicates the maximum life of the bacteria. It is important to use the product before the expiration date to ensure that the bacteria are still viable.

It is recommended that you take the probiotic according to the instructions and consult a doctor or nutritionist, if necessary, to ensure that you get the best benefit from the live probiotic bacteria.

There are excellently documented studies on each of the individual components of Janiser® Probiotic, which we are happy to provide to doctors, alternative practitioners and nutritionists on request. Particularly in recent years, highly interesting studies have been published on both the individual bacterial strains and the plant extracts. However, no clinical studies have yet been conducted under the name "Janiser®Probiotic and for our proprietary product formulation, as the product has only been in use in Colombia since 2014 and in Europe since 2019. It is only in the last few years that research has been conducted on the relationship of mental health with the diversity of the microbiome. One relies so far, unfortunately, only on studies that assume a parallel intake of antidepressants.

There are different manufacturing processes for the bacteria in probiotics, depending on the type of product and the desired properties of the bacteria. Here are some common manufacturing processes:

  1. Fermentation: In fermentation, probiotic bacteria are cultivated in a controlled environment. They are grown in a nutrient medium such as milk, soy or cereals to increase their number. This process allows the bacteria to multiply and develop their desired properties.
  2. Lyophilization (freeze-drying): This process is often used to increase the shelf life of the bacteria. The bacteria are frozen at low temperatures and then dried in a vacuum. The removal of water puts the bacteria into a kind of dormant state that increases their stability and survivability.
  3. Microencapsulation: In microencapsulation, the bacteria are encapsulated in tiny capsules or particles. This serves to protect the bacteria from gastric juice and other adverse conditions in the digestive tract. The capsules can be made of various materials such as gelatin, alginic acid, or cellulose, and only dissolve in the intestine to allow the release of the bacteria.
  4. Spray drying: In spray drying, the bacteria are sprayed in liquid form and dried in a stream of hot air. This process removes the water and converts the bacteria into a dry powder form. This improves the stability and shelf life of the bacteria and facilitates their storage and use.

It is important to note that different manufacturers may use different manufacturing processes to produce their specific probiotics. The choice of manufacturing process can influence the efficacy, quality and stability of the probiotic bacteria.

Among the mentioned manufacturing processes, only fermentation can be considered a 100% natural process. Fermentation is a natural biological process in which microorganisms such as bacteria, yeasts or fungi grow in a nutrient medium and carry out metabolic reactions. This process imitates the natural reproduction and activity of bacteria.

Fermentation allows the bacteria to multiply under optimal conditions and develop the desired properties. This leads to an increased number of bacteria in the product, which ensures availability.

In addition, other beneficial components may be produced during fermentation, such as metabolites or substances that improve bacterial survival.

However, it is important to note that the choice of manufacturing process also depends on other factors such as the stability of the bacteria, the desired dosage form and the specific requirements of the product.

Janiser®Probiotikum is administered only in liquid form to ensure all the benefits of the natural manufacturing process of bacterial fermentation and at the same time also the high bioavailability of all herbal ingredients for the shelf life.

Which arguments speak for, which arguments speak against the distribution of dietary supplements with the help of a recommendation marketing system ? How can we as the supplier most clearly counter the frequent criticism of recommendation marketing? What ethical concerns can we address?

We asked ChatGBT - currently one of the most neutral ways to determine the pros and cons from a large pool of data.

Arguments for referral marketing sales of dietary supplements:

Earning Potential: Referral marketing systems often offer attractive earning opportunities for those who can engage and sell successfully. This can be especially interesting for people who are looking for a way to increase their income or are looking for a flexible business opportunity.

The earnings should be only in the second place. Money is only the lubricant for our life and our creation, accumulation NOT the goal of our activity. We always want to motivate our sales partners to create financial freedom for themselves in order to be able to actively engage in voluntary recovery support for mentally ill fellow human beings. This is our wish, our declared goal and of course not a condition. People who work 40 hours a week or study, who maintain a family and provide for their home and livelihood, usually do not have time to care for fellow human beings who need help and counseling. The possible income from the Janiser®Probiotikum distribution can help to create some independence in order to find the necessary time to support fellow human beings in the immediate environment in crises on a voluntary basis.

Access to high-quality products: Referral marketing systems enable distributors to offer high-quality dietary supplements that may not be available through traditional distribution channels. This can offer customers a wider range of products and potentially better options.

Over the last 5 years, we have made every effort to dock onto the medical "system", have reported to clinicians, researchers, doctors, pharmacists and therapists about the success of the products in the prevention of chronic diseases and have supplied hundreds of users "under the radar". Conclusion: The medical-industrial complex in Europe is hermetically sealed off, products without studies from non-EU countries are avoided across the board, because it is wrongly assumed that GMP conditions are not implemented in South America and because synthetically manufactured products can be sold with much higher margins in China. The production of the probiotic concentrate with exclusively natural raw materials in a very well managed medium-sized company in Colombia and the expensive air freight route to Europe have their price. Elaborate advertising and distribution via the two-tier wholesale and retail trade would make the products unnecessarily more expensive and later require mass production, which is simply not possible because of the focus on natural ingredients.

We have therefore opted for exclusive direct sales, in which the users and not the pharmaceutical wholesalers participate in possible savings and commissions. This is the only way we can permanently guarantee that Janiser®Probiotikum and other products from the naturopathic laboratory in South America remain available in high quality.

Community and training: Referral marketing companies emphasize community spirit and provide training and support for their channel partners. This can contribute to personal growth, self-confidence and a sense of belonging.

Direct contact with our customers and sales partners is the key to good development in which all parties participate: The customer, the sales partner as a supporter of his customers and we as a supplier.

This is the best way to communicate our real purpose: Relying on natural ingredients, on ancient indigenous healing knowledge and the successful combination of bacteria beneficial to intestinal health and healthy plant extracts to make available a probiotic that has an important place in the prevention of chronic diseases. A large number of studies on the "surprising" and "largely unexplored" effect of bacteria on mental and physical health have been proving for about 15 years that medicine should actively enter this field. Only the economic interests of the pharmaceutical industry block a speedy implementation of these findings in nutritional medical practice. More and more antibiotics are being administered worldwide (antibiotics have an inhibiting or killing effect of the metabolic products of certain microorganisms on other microorganisms). However, the consequences of antibiotic use, which have lasted for decades, are still treated today with inadequate protocols or not at all - the patient is usually left to fend for himself.

Arguments against selling dietary supplements in referral marketing sales:

Structural problems: Referral marketing systems often have a hierarchical structure in which income is generated mainly by recruiting new distributors rather than by actually selling products. This can lead to a focus on recruiting and building a distribution network rather than selling products to end customers.

The production of Janiser® Probiotikum is limited. The fact that the product only needs to be taken once for 21 days, and thus one course of treatment per user is sufficient as long as he has not undergone any other antibiotic treatment, requires continuous recommendation by satisfied users. We do not offer subscription and do not recommend continuous use of Janiser®. Probiotikum. It is therefore exclusively up to the customer himself and the consulting distributor (sponsor) to organize the recommendations in such a way that they reach people who have a need for refreshing their microbiome with Janiser® Probiotikum feel.

Overpromising: Some referral marketing companies make exaggerated financial promises and give unrealistic expectations about earning potential. This can cause people to suffer financial losses if they do not achieve the expected results.

We as a supplier and our consulting distribution partners are open and transparent. We always try to communicate only provable and neutrally available statements and studies on intestinal health. We do not lure distributors with the prospect of excessive profits, as our focus is on maintaining health and not on accumulating profits.

Manidad AG supports the association Dioscurides Österreich e.V., which is a platform for physicians and naturopaths focusing on research, knowledge transfer and publication of study papers on naturopathic methods and treatment protocols with a focus on the connection between mental health and the gut-brain axis.

Reputation damage: Referral marketing systems often struggle with a negative reputation, as some companies are seen as pyramid schemes or fraudulent. This can affect the credibility of the industry as a whole.

Manidad AG's corporate guidelines state that the establishment of a pyramid scheme using electronic means and presenting financial incentives by our distribution partners will result in the termination of the partnership. We prohibit sales via Facebook, Instagram or Tiktok. Our choice for a referral marketing distribution system only follows the realization that we do not want to introduce our excellent products to the dietary supplement market with lobbying and elaborate, expensive marketing, but exclusively on the basis of recommendations from satisfied users. Therefore, only customers recruited by recommenders can buy from Janiser®Probiotika. This way we ensure that the new customer can participate in the product experience of the recommender.

Transparency: The provider should provide transparent information about the company, its products, the compensation plan and the chances of success. Clear and honest communication can help gain the trust of potential sales partners and customers.

At the end of each presentation and online event, the visitor receives an overview of the Distributor Compensation Plan upon request. We offer any interested party the opportunity to become a Distributor as long as they meet the conditions set forth in the Company's policies, attend training sessions, and sign our Distributor Agreement. The Company reserves the right to reject Distributors without giving any reason.

Focus on products: The provider should focus on high-quality products and ensure that sales to end customers and product use are the primary focus.

Our mission will be fulfilled if we succeed in securing the production in South America as well as the quality and deliverability of the natural Janiser® probiotics, in documenting the ingredients of the indigenous recipes and the production according to GMP criteria, in establishing marketability in Switzerland and the EU, in providing batch-by-batch proof of quality assurance by our laboratory in Switzerland, and in organizing the logistics to customers and distribution partners. We are currently preparing a number of further recipes that will be added to the sales range in the coming years once marketability has been established in Switzerland and the EU.

Natural limit:

We can currently guarantee only a limited number of Janiser® Probiotikum cures per year in South America in this high quality, of which only a part is intended for the European market. The production capacity is limited due to the availability of the natural ingredients. The minimum shelf life of the product without refrigeration, without the addition of preservatives and without pasteurization is 24 months from the date of production.

Our users are invited to communicate their experiences with the products among themselves with testimonials. Our distributors are encouraged to play a moderating role in the exchange of information and experiences and to provide content that helps organize this exchange transparently, efficiently and with clarity. In this way, the product benefits are always kept in the foreground, thus making it easy for new users to get a very comprehensive and clear overview of the product properties of Janiser®Probioticum, thus eliminating misinformation or user uncertainty. Since this is a probiotic dietary supplement and not medicine, medical practitioners, clinicians and pharmacists who are exclusively orthodox medical practitioners will not be able to provide you with information about the efficacy of probiotics according to indigenous recipes.

We have compiled a number of excellent studies on the positive properties of the bacteria and plant active ingredients used on intestinal health in a way that is easy to read for every user. You will receive the information in the regular lectures, directly from your distributor and in writing with each delivery.

Janiser®Probiotikum is a food supplement. The application is not based on any healing promise. It cannot be deduced from our statements that a relief or improvement of a disease state is guaranteed or promised.
